Description The Selkie is one of my favorite creatures, though I always got them mixed with the Kelpie.

But anyway, I hope you all enjoy!

The Speed paint is available at  www.youtube.com/watch?v=L25Kiw…

(I used the anatomy and coat patterns of the Grey Seal for the bottom half)

Oh my... This picture is beautiful! I love idea of drawing mythical creatures. It feels like I'm under the water with her and she's looking right at me. She looks really excited while she's in this playful type pose.
The anatomy looks great! I definitely love how she looks like a seal but she also has some human qualities. For example reddish, flowing hair and pretty much her whole upper half.
The background is quite simple which, for me, adds a nice touch to the finished drawing.
It looks like you used the proper techniques for the shadows created by the light source as well!

Keep up the awesome work! Can't wait to see more from you!

I'm trying to pull from memory...a selkie is a merfolk but the fish is replaced with seal? It's cute how you added more of the seal feature (snout) to push that point.

Thanks! It was actually difficult to decide what to make seal-like, because I wanted to show more seal, but not so much that it becomes anthro.
