I've been drawing the new Mega Pokemon to try and love them.

Rant - I love the designs, but I hate that they're not evolutions, they're just temporary forms. Why do we need a mega Pinsir? Is he not deserving of an evolution instead? And even for Pokemon who already have a 3 evolution set, why not just bump up the number of evolutions a Pokemon can have to 4, or better yet, just give the Pokemon who don't already have any evolutions some love? I'd be more ok with that then with Megas. Even if it meant that they kept bumping it up. I'd rather have a Pokemon with 10 stages in it's evolution line then one with a temporary form. I also think giving megas to uber Pokemon and legendaries was a stupid idea, but whatever.

This is my shiny Mega Ampharos who has yet to be named. She's done in pen and copic marker which is why there are so many mistakes, but boy is she still fabulous.

The picture is in grey scale, because apparently if you run a copic marker over black paper mate ink, the pen ink turns blue. An interesting effect, but now what I was going for. Maybe some of you creative folk can use that information. I have no idea >_>
