Got there while they where chilling in the shade and starting to become active, so just drove with them abit because they where becoming interested in something walking around upwind.

Ah, cool! I'm going to Tanzania this August and really hope to get to see some neat animals and maybe if I am lucky be there for a kill!

Wow a year in the bush, were you doing research or something? That's really neat! Yeah I doubt I'll see anything action-oriented while on safari, but there is always a chance. Last time I went a few years ago I did see a bunch of hyenas tearing apart a wildebeest carcass, this one was running away from the group with a leg swinging in it's mouth, it was an awesome thing to see!

Im a ranger, so Im driving around everyday looking for the animals.

went on a course outside Kruger, where you live and study in the bush for six months. Really awesome

Wow, that does sound awesome! Certainly is a unique job that must have some neat stories with it. I'd much prefer something like that to sitting behind a desk in a stuffy office all day, every day.

A break from city life, something new, photography, quite a few things. Had nothing tying me down so it wasn't really difficult. Really glad I did though
