Nice render. How many poly is that model? It should not be too bad to render the model depending on what CPU power you currently have on your design/art computer you used to make the model.

You can also link up some computers and do a network render to speed up the process which use the CPU power of more than one computer system to do 3D annimated movies.

i don't too polycount lol... it's just something we don't really do in architecture... and I've carried that on with my miscellaneous renders such as this ^^

OK, just thought I would ask since you mentioned "did an animation... I dare not render it though..." in your comments which is why I asked about the poly count since that is what determins how fast or slow your render will take and a model does not have to have high poly count for it to look good.

Computer Game models range from 5,000 to 15,000 poly depending on the game engine and all of the game models I make are under 9,000 with high detailed textures instead of poly count so that it runs smoothly in the computer games and still look good even on a Pentium 4 system.

yeah, that comes into mind... I'm joining this contest Dominance War 4... they limited the models to 10000 tris? how are tricount and polycount different?

Yes indeed, only the triangle count is useful for games. Poly just means 'many' so a polygon is a many sided shape. But game engines only work with triangles so a poly count is misleading. A cube counts as six polys, but is made of 12 triangles.
