lol I'm late for the new year, but I've had such a slow start to the year as well as no drive for anything AT ALL, but this looked interesting to do and I put the time into it, so I'm putting it up...

Don't think I've really improved at all in the last 2 years though. ugh. I miss my old pony style D: But hey, something to work on... as well as my hideously creepy man-lady of 2009 lol >_< (and yeah I have a bad habit of hiding the left eye behind hair XD because I can't draw it...)

It is very cool to see artist's improvement Your understanding of light and colour is amazing And I have to confess that I'm not a MLP fan myself (in fact I don't know almost anything about them ) but when I first saw your artwork I liked it very much Best MLP artist I saw on DA by the way!

Wow this meme is so beautiful since all your art is so beautiful! Has always been :3 But really you can see the improvement with shading and coloring and all, and your 2009 first pic is so detailed with color, soso beautiful! Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the variable art I included. I tried to avoid only just ponies since, personally, I find that a lot of them tend to look the same.

Is it normal to fav a meme? Well I'm going to anyway, there's so much beautiful work on just this one page!
Were you really just 14 when you drew that first row? Even the 2nd pic is just...wow!

I don't think there was much to improve on since 2003. I mean this in a good way of course =3. The only thing I notice is that there's no colour. But I guess your eyes can obviously see things that I and the rest of us can't - but for improvement of the last 2 years? If only I could ever reach your calibre of 2009... *sigh*. The colourful one at the bottom (was it "Remind me of the things I like"?) is just gorgeous. Dunno how you plan to top that one but knowing you I'm sure you will . (Long post, huh XD).

lol! You can fave whatever you want! Lol that 2nd picture in the first row is soo oooold and dirty - I smudged it really bad, though I vaguely remember that at the time I had dreamed of getting it coloured digitally one day. not going to happen. but if you come over I can show you the full thing It was, I guess, my big achievement that year, but it didn't go all the way.

To me, there is always something to improve on I plan on topping the colourful one by doing something more realistic, and less flat for my pony art. Personally I don't like the way I colour - I think I can do a whole lot better.

But keep drawing! you have potential to draw well, you just need to keep practicing at it!

Thanks! I guess I learnt how to draw my ponies from first drawing lots of horses when I was younger. That influenced it alot I guess. Later I was inspired/influenced by G2 art (the first generation I was properly introduced to), The Last Unicorn and the artwork of Baby Ice Crystal

How neat! You've always had a lovely style that stayed true even with all your improvements. I think 2007 appears to be the strongest pony-art year, but I've no doubt you'll only get better from here. :3

Dang, didn't realise I missed replying to this one! But I agree with you on 2007 -- I think that was one of my best art years, which makes sense considering I wasn't under as much stress as the years prior and after.

You should date everything you do! I always date my sketches -- It's nice to see what styles and ideas come up when and how far you've developed!

If my memory serves me right you were the first person I watched and faved art from when I joined DA back in 07'. I like your ponies I think because I had them when I was a kid, and its a treat sometimes to see art that's more lighthearted with pretty pastel and rainbow colors.
