Yeah, I understand. He's fab. I personally also think he is the best villain in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. I thought the anime series did well with him for Part 1 and I'm glad he's back for Part 3.

Yes, I know! I really enjoy that he's a real cold-hearted villain and he stays as a villain through the anime series... well, I can't say much since I haven't read the manga, but that's the impression I get from him.Β

Yeah, Dio is not a good guy. I think the manga is very cool. Did you get introduced to the JoJo universe through the new anime? I found out about the JoJo universe through the Capcom JoJo video game they released back in 1999. That's an awesome game imo!
I'm hoping David Productions will do the rest of the parts as well! The anime is a good gateway to the series for new people who aren't familiar with the manga.

Yup! I started with the anime series since I have a hard time reading manga. But oh! I'm glad to meet people who actually read the manga series because they have a more accurate perspective of the characters.Β

Yeah. Well, I'm glad you're enjoying the JoJo anime series. What did you think of JoJo Part 1 and 2? Part 1 was alright to me, it started the franchise. Dio was obviously introduced there, lol. I think things picked up with Part 2 as I really had a great time with it and I liked Young Joseph Joestar a lot. Part 3 is my absolute favorite though!

Well, at first I didn't like Joseph too much, but since a friend of mine loved him I paid attention to his personality (she read the manga first). After a couple of episodes of the 2nd part I was excited about what was going to happen, so I thought everything was fine.
In the first part I fell in love with Dio, I was amazed that he was a REAL villain the whole time and the fact that he did not regret anything was perfect. It's funny because I never heard of JoJo until this anime series came up, I didn't know it was so old and everything, it makes me happy I could watch it (tho at first I argued that I wouldn't watch it because "it was weird and silly"). I'm glad I liked it so far.
About Stardust Crusaders I love Star Platinum and Kakyoin so much, heck, I even like Polnareff even though he's a jerk.
I don't know if it's because we already fell in love with the franchise in part 1 and 2, but part 3 is amazing, I mean, I love how everything has developed to this level... it's so random but informative at the same time. You don't find a lot of anime series like that (well, at least that's what I think, I might be wrong).Β

My friend had the same reaction to Joseph in Part 2. He didn't really like him. But he kept watching the series anyway. He really liked Part 1. I'm the one who introduced him to the JoJo universe in the first place, lol. He's really liking Part 3.
This same friend introduced me to another anime series called Hunter x Hunter very recently. I told him I would think about it but I wasn't too sure. He kept bringing it up for months and then I finally broke down and tried it out. It was really good and I was hooked. I had heard about the name but I didn't know anything about it.
My favorite characters in Stardust Crusaders so far among the heroes are Jotaro Kujo/Star Platinum and Noriaki Kakyoin/Hierophant Green. My favorite villains right now from where the anime is currently are Dio, Rubber Soul/Yellow Temperance and Hol Horse/The Emperor. I also find Steely Dan (Dan of Steel) and Mannish Boy (Manishu Booi)/Death 13 pretty cool. There is SO many interesting stand abilities and the stand users are all very unique too (Forever the orangutan, Nena and Devo aka Soul Sacrifice).

Oh I started HunterxHunter many years ago, but since I realized it has so many episodes I think I'll pass.
Now that you mention Hol Horse, man, I loved Hol Horse in so many levels I couldn't handle it.
And that! There's so many crazy stand users with so many interesting abilities that I couldn't believe that are not clichΓ©.
