I wanted to do a photograph similar to this with a women in the desert in a series of sorts with a gas mask. There is a condition many don't know about called MCS. Some people have become so sensitive to everyday pollutants that are being put out there they are forced to even move out of their homes. A documentary was made on this called "homesick". Many of these people end up out in isolated areas such as the desert etc seeking refuge from what is happening to their bodies and planet. It's tragic really. Most people don't know about this because the people affected are so isolated the word spreads slow. I just say don't put or use anything you wouldn't personally eat. This helps in many ways I believe and makes us healthier people as well. Anyways, pardon the rant.. Dig the photograph.
