It's a great pic of gally/alita; and I agree with the other post: the second set of books doesn't have the impact of the first volume did..

regardless, still a great series and still a great pic.

It's true that the original series was loads more powerful than Last Order. (Well, book 1 had a very strong sensation of being a throwback to Alitas' first days as a Tuned. To me anyway. ) I think alot of that has to do with the ZOTT deal. I never really liked Tournys in manga. It's just character VS foe, introduce exotic and powerful attack, mix a little bit of mind over matter and victory. The real only redeaming fight in all of the ZOTTs' was Alitas' fight with Caerula Sanguis. Also, partnership with Nova is like, a war crime.

I still enjoy the story, and I revisit the old mangas enough to remain content.
