Thanks! I used a combination of some textured papers that I've gotten here and there ^_^; it takes some experimenting to see which ones give the desired result, with the textures as well as the layer modes.

Great use of color. It really makes the creature seem more dream-like, as if it were only partly solid, and the rest a fading phantom.
