Lucy Heartfilia | Fairy Tail | © Hiro MashimaFinally finished! I'm pretty happy with the results, kind of pissed of at the quality of the picture. I don't own any high quality camera so my iphone is the only choice I have. I don't want to upload from my scanner either because it does not give justice to the picture, they always turn out odd and I have to edit the drawing alot, which sucks.
Anyway, I adore Lucy and there is gonna be more future drawings of her, but I kind of need to stop only drawing Fairy Tail characters.
I was inspired by Ishthak lineart.
tools: Faber castell, mechanical pencil & eraser.

Well first of all thank you! I don't know how to explain how I drew this, im actually a beginner myself when it comes to coloring.
But you need good pencils, or else it wont work. Try to combine lighter and darker colors to create shading, its important that the picture has shadows it makes it look more realistic and 3D.
