Description Wrench wasn’t so sure about the whole joining up with the vamps thing. I pretended to have confidence that this would all go perfect, but, to tell the truth, I was no where near comfy with the idea myself. Tanna was gung-ho over it, thinking that we might find Caz.  The thought of Caz being a vampyre didn’t particularly appeal to me for some reason. I wondered briefly if Vince was the same inside as he was before the change.
Our plan was that the vamps would crash in the guest bathroom during the day, since it had no windows. We were all tired too so we would all stick together and sleep in my room. My cat, Ailan, would stay with us too. No need in letting her be vampyre food.
By the time we woke up, it was dusk. I walked to the vamp’s camp and found it deserted. We searched the house, found nothing, then showered and got dressed. Sitting on my bed, we held a meeting to decide everything.

Back at the station, Vince paced.
What to do about the human, he pondered. Hmm… I want her for my queen. Maybe if I kidnapped her sweetheart she’d reconsider. Nah, that’d just piss her off. She’s too smart for that to work. If I kidnapped her best friend, that might work. She cares more about Tanna than Wrench… Or, if I found that missing girl, Caz, I think… She might feel indebted to me. That’s my best plan right now. I have to find Caz.
“Syenna, Vylella, find the girl named Caz. She may be human, may be a vampyre. Go, find her quickly!”
Vince snapped his fingers and his vampyresses darted off. He smiled. Soon, very soon, he would have what he wanted.

“Okay everyone, plan a’s and plan b’s are appreciated right now. Anyone?”
Wrench grimaced before speaking. “Well, we could always just stay away from them and keep together. Obviously they aren’t our friends or they would have spoke with us before leaving. Am I right or am I right?”
“They would have been killed if they woke us up and they more than likely knew it! That isn’t fair and you know it!” Tanna hissed. Her anger had been aroused. Erm… Oopsie?
“They could have left a note!”
Sigh… I can’t have my best friends fighting. “Okay, look, this isn’t helping any. Ideas anyone else before I start spitting out mine and dictating the convo?”
“Erm… Couldn’t we go back to the bar we found him at and see if there’s another vamp that knows Vince?” Ana asked.
“Good idea. That is one possible suggestion. Last call for input.”
“Dude, why don’t we just wait for him to come back here? Maybe they were just hungry and didn’t want to eat us. I mean, obviously they are interested in Allyria. Won’t they come back for her or something?” Puppy wanted to know.
“I vote for that. What do y’all think?” Every hand except Wrench’s was raised. Okay, I thought to myself. Majority rules. Puppy’s plan rox my sox.
“Okay, Puppy’s plan is the plan A in that case. Wrench’s or Ana’s for plan B?
Ana’s won. Wrench glanced around, pissed off. Oh shit here comes the blowup. He slammed his hands onto the bed before walking out of the room.
“Volunteers to follow him? I’ll go if no one else wants to brave him.” No hands were raised. Great. An angry boyfriend is just what I need.
I followed Wrench silently, not wanting to chase him down, just watching his back. He peeled out of my driveway and sped down the road. I hopped in Tanna’s car, knowing she wouldn’t mind. Tailing him at a cautious distance, I saw him turn off onto a road I’d never noticed before. I turned too, only to not see him anywhere. I parked the car on the side of the road, turned everything off, locked the doors, and walked down the road.
Glancing around, I saw that nothing was moving. That was strange. No dust that Wrench’s car should have kicked up, with as fast as it was going. I glided further along and saw a sign that glowed red that was there, and yet, it wasn’t there. If I looked directly at it, it disappeared. I walked towards it, reached my hand out, and was promptly sucked through a portal to another dimension.
