I was walking home and I saw these people sitting on the bench. I felt terribly upset watching on as this old women sat on the other end of the bench from the couple, alone and nearly falling off. I felt her loneliness and the tention that existed in the space between them. This photograph basically points out that sometimes we can be the most alone in this world when we are surrounded by others...But as others have pointed out theres a whole list of other meanings it could have...

high schoool sucks.

High school is always the cause for feeling cut off and unappreciated. About a week before graduation, I literally cried because every senior except myself was being bombarded with goodbyes and well wishes from my acting troupe, I was only noticed by a few people. I seriously felt more alone then ever.
One Friday I went and watched my old high school choir perform at the local mall. Every single person who knew me from the group basically attacked me. Which proves that people don't know what they have until that something or that someone had left.
Life gets better after High school, the loneliness will go away, just keep moving forward.

This is a very beautiful but sad picture, looking at it reminds me of times in the past where I felt just as isolated and as alone even when there where a lot of people around. Though this also gives the feeling of someone having lived for such a long time, while everyone she probably cared about is gone. You captured this moment perfectly!
