Description

Kenobi was a surprise child, and not just in the way he came into the world. He surprises his mother Naomi and the pride he spent his first months in on a virtual daily basis.

Before reuniting with his father Benjamin, Kenobi is a bit self-centered and manipulative (two traits that never truly go away). Naomi does her best to curb Kenobi's selfish behavior, but he only pretends to listen to her.

When a new orphan is adopted into the pride, taking a portion of "center stage" away from him, Kenobi makes the cub's life miserable. Even going so far as to lead the cub into a trap set by the bounty hunters that are searching for him.

Narrowly surviving this adventure, Kenobi goes back to being his playful, self-confident self, albeit more considerate. This doesn't stop him from rudely waking a lion passing by the pride who takes his noonday napping spot. It isn't long that Kenobi discovers this lion is actually his father - who had left his mother before he was born. Thrilled that he not only discovered his dad, Kenobi also believes he's solely responsible for getting his parents back together as a family. They move a short distance away from the pride where he grew up, and now enjoys a private playground with his new favorite playmate: Dad.

- He's an antagonist of sorts from my old fanfic/story "Lord of the Plain. " Some events in this story are referenced in Kenobi's bio above.

- Kenobi's design was inspired by a sketch of a lion cub that I adopted on TLKFAA. (long since lost, sadly - I don't remember who drew the sketch, either)

- He is named after Obi-Wan Kenobi from Star Wars, and his braid is inspired by a Padawan braid, which I added to his design myself.

- Kenobi has two "counterparts" here on DA: Obi and Wan. (Owned by JessiRenee and Miss-Melis respectively.)

- I originally thought him to be Scar's son, but I changed this when I realized that fact didn't really have a place in my story. For a long time, he had no father. But he's got a daddy now.
