One of the perfect "father and son" duos to ever exist... How could they not be when we're still seeing them as being relevant, nearly twenty-one years after the original release of The Lion King? And James Earl Jones as Mufasa... Holy hell that was a superb casting choice.

The movie itself was a wonderful blend of tragedy, comedy, betrayal and vengeance... Come to think of it, it actually has similar ideas with Shakespeare's play MacBeth, such as the beloved king being disposed by an ambitious heir to the throne and then everything turns to shit under the rule of the new king... all while the rightful heir has to come back and confront his traitorous uncle.

For the drawing itself, it's a wonderful recreation of one of the most tender moments in the movie... a chance for master and student, father and son to get together and enjoy each other's company. Great stuff, and hope to see more works like this soon.
