I wanted to give my latest TLK/G OC, Anika, a proper introduction, so here it is.

When she and her older siblings, Rani, and Baliyo, were four months old, she wandered away from the Tree of Life and hid from her older siblings in a cave, planning to jump out and surprise them when they go there looking for her. Unbeknownst to her, however, a group of four male rogue lions were in the cave, who were planning to invade and take over the Tree of Life. The leader of the rogues decided to start their takeover by killing the cubs of the king and queen, starting with Anika. Frightened, Anika ran back to the Tree of Life, but unintentionally led the rogues there when they chased her. Her parents, king Sahasi and queen Ananda, her grandmother, Janna, her uncles, Surak and Kamal, and her aunt, Lavani, arrived in time before they could kill any of the cubs, but the rogues ended up overpowering them and killing Sahasi, Ananda, Kamal, and Lavani.

Overwhelmed with guilt, as she felt she caused their deaths, Anika ran away and lived as a lone lioness for almost two years before attempting to return to the Tree of Life to make amends with her surviving family. She encountered Kion and his Day Guard at the Mountain Pass, and told them she wanted to see her sister, Rani. Kion left her with Bunga and Astuto {who replaced Fuli as the Fastest} while he and the rest of the Day Guard went and got Rani. Rani wasn't pleased to see her younger sister and didn't believe her when she said she didn't mean to lead the rogues to the Tree of Life, and both disowned her as her sister and denied her access to the Tree of Life. Under her orders, Kion reluctantly had Anga, Astuto, and Tangaagim {who replaced Beshte as the Strongest} escort Anika away from the Mountain Pass.

However, after having a conversation with Kion, Rani decided she was too hard on her sister and decided to forgive her and let her come back to the Tree of Life, much to Anika's joy and relief. She now lives at the Tree of Life as a dedicated member of the Night Pride, and a loving member of the royal family.
