well according to dA a photomanip has to
be made at least from 2 photos which isnt
the case here. Plus, I darkened the colour
the Original was really bright pink to bright
to look nice

oh really? I didn't know that you had to use two pics for those! Just call me a noob! LOL! As I always say, you learn something new every day! If not, you're either dead or in a coma! So I guess I can be sure that I'm still alive and that most (even though not all) my faculties are working properly at the moment!
Is there a place to look to find the standards for such things? How did you come to know what DA calls a photomanip? Where did you find it? I've been curious about how to tell for sure which category things go into. For instance there's only one category for fractals but there are pure fractals and then there are fractals that have been manipulated. So I don't know why they don't have another category for fractal manipulations like they do for photomanipulations. It seems odd.

allthough some put the manips under photomanip.
I found out about the rules in a club where I was and she told
me. I admit for me photomanip is photomanip, no matter
if it includes one or more photos. There is a category
for such which is called darkroom but many rose manips
which are just a change in color are in APN photography
so depending on my mood I place them all over

I'd seen that link before but I had it in my DA ID under the FAQ heading about "What is a DD and how is it chosen?" This time I listed it in my general section under "List of Gallery Moderators" so that I can remember where to find it!

I can't draw at all, it's just not my thing, I mean, I can't draw anything, stick figure stuff maybe. Now I can do lettering for whatever reason, I should look into graffiti. lol

Graffiti is too cool and I believe it or not, the most incredible graffiti art I have ever seen has been on the side of trains. The railroad runs right along side my property here in California (Sierra Foothills), because of the steep grade heading up the hill, often the trains will break down and stop on the tracks for up to an hour, sometimes longer. When this happens, I always like to walk along the tracks and check out the art and it's amazing, not to mention the fact that it could be from almost anywhere, it's incredible stuff.
I agree with you about the artist here as well, DA is a place like no other, before coming here, I had no idea that there were so many talented people in this world.

Uiii, das ist aber ein sehr kräftiges Pink!!! Durch die Farbanpassung hat sich leider das Bildrauschen verstärkt. Ich behandle meine Fotos meistens mit einem Programm, das Bildrauschen entfernt, bevor ich es weiterbearbeite.

hab es nochmal überarbeitet so gut es ging, die Rose hat nur viel Struktur in den Blättern, das ist net so leicht hier rauschen zu entfernen ohne einen Uniformen Brei zu bekommen
