A manip of a Caretta Carreta another highly endangered species of the sea, doomed by the greed of men.IUCN Status endangered, because of their fat used in cosmetics and medics, their egg and meat for food, their shells for combs glasses and what else.
Another big danger for them as for many beeings in the sea are the huge trawl/dragnet fishing (dont know which is the more correct translation)

I love this piece of art. Very beautiful. My son is a HUGE fan of sea turtles (or any kind of turtle for that matter) and we are going to theme our bathroom in sea life. Maybe this piece will join the collection for our new bathroom
