imelda x hector rivera, setting decades (centuries) after what happens in the movie COCO-
((THE FIRST TIME I MAKE A COMICS so be indulgent lol
but I *HAD* to draw this headcanon: the headcanon that Héctor is going to be the one who ‘survives’ the longest, because of his fanbase and people remembering him for his music & talent... i imagine that at some point, he will even start to whish to be forgotten.
then Coco is the second longest to survive, because of the letters she kept and how she is part of Héctor legacy. more or less the same with Miguel.
Imelda will be gone before them. before Héctor. and it will ruin him once again... and I HAD TO DRAW THIS AND NOW I AM SADDDDD!! ))

As sad as this is.....is does sound right. People remember the famous artists and celebrities and hardly their spouses unless they're also some kind of celeb....which Imelda's not.

That's a great idea, although it would make sense that they would go together, their legacy tied to one family.

i genuinely think that she will leave first. maybe he will follow very quickly, but he is now a musician 'legend', like elvis or even mozart! lol he will be worshipped for his music... maybe imelda as the creator of famous brand of shoes will last long as well, but artist last longer imho.
but it is just a silly headcanon, and I LOVE ANGST haha
