EDIT 4: The fact that I had to take down both comments and now my critiques for this stamp made me loose some hope in the DA brony community. Come on guys...EDIT 3: Alright, I'd never thought I'd have to nix the comments oone of my works, but this one takes the cake.The amount of repetitive and "SAVE DERPY" comments got the best of me. I adore all the love I get from this stamp, I really do. But I'm just about to scream from people telling me I need to help them save Derpy. I love her as a character. I'm sad they changed her voice and eyes in that one episode. But the head-in-the-but attitude some of the Brony community has over it just needs to stop.
EDIT 2: Alright, new rule. If you're going to use my stamp, please link back here. People have been uploading it as theirs. I'm about to delete this thing to just get it over with. Those who have been using it are Bronies. So, fellow Bronies, I beg you, please to the right thing and DON'T STEAL!!!
EDIT 1: Just to point this out, I made this WAY BEFORE the Derpy face/voice change scandle. Where I don't like how she was changed, this stamp was not created from such instant.

Seriously people, I'm not an over the top Derpy fan, I like her as a fan character, but she's not an insult. If anything, she should be somepony that we all look up to. She shows us a great lesson. Also, my little step-brother is mentally handicapped, and he loves her!
The text was supposed to be a kinda white-tannish-yellow, like her mane, but it was just too darn hard to see. Sorry!
On a strange note, I've been listening to "Cry For the Moon" by Epica while I made this. Seems to be a strange combination XD.

When I first heard about Derpy Hooves, I thought it was a screwball character the fans made up. But when somebody told me that it was official, I was stumped. I learned more about her personality, and even added her in my fan fics. Better than that, I was so surprised to see her talking and being an innocent pony that's so accident prone! Derpy's wall eyes are not as "offensive" as I've seen. Believe me, I've seen worse wall eye thingies at other stuff, and THEY didn't complain. Derpy's none other than a klutzy accident-prone pony will all love.

When I first saw this, I fell in love with it. I myself am not an over the top fan of Derpy as well, but I completely agree with you on how she can teach us all a lesson. I actually know a few people that are a little "derpy". The high school I went to, we supported all of the special needs kids. We helped them explore the school without having any fear. I have seen high schools that tease and bully kids like this because they are "different" which I find to be very wrong. I will post this sticker everywhere I can because it is true. Even when your down on your butt, just get back up and try even harder. Nicely done! ^_^

And, truth be told, they sort of are about opinions. Art is all about opinions. One person may like a piece, another may not.
So, say if it was a painting, one person may tell me it's perfect, but another would see mistakes, and tell me what I could do to possibly make it better. (Though, if you're unlucky, you may get an a-hole who just tells you you suck, and have to redo the whole piece with no reason behind it. Such is art school...)

I don't see why Derpy is offensive. Getting rid of Derpy because her disability is an "insult" is like saying that people with that disability are an insult. That's just my interpretation.... Derpy is a great pony! This stamp is so true! Great job, it's a cute message

As someone who has severe OCD (borderline schizophrenia) and learning disabilities, as well as being friends with multiple kids with Downe's Syndrome, I find removing "Derpy" a huge insult. The name may have been used for other reasons in the past, but English is a living language and that is certainly not the meaning any more. For those of you who live in a cave without an internet connection, it has become a popular meme. As for changing the voice and eyes, that is reminiscent of genocide. The character was killed because there was something "wrong" with her. She should have been accepted, and those who have or know someone with a mental disability should have rejoiced that they were recognized in a show instead of being ignored. Derpy was more than a shout-out to the bronies, she was a (sadly misinterpreted) lesson in equality.

This is a great message, if Derpy is taken off the show wouldn't that mean no Patrick on Spongebob? And I'm friends with a mentally handicapped person. There's nothing very different with him. He just learns a little slower than others, and has a shorter list of vocabulary. He sometimes has a little trouble expressing his feelings, but he's still really great. Also, Derpy is encouraging kids that those with mental disorders are still people. There's many ponies on the show with different attitudes and apprences.

I do not think " derpy " really means " retarded " ( I even feel bad recognising this meaning " ) if it does I am sure it was made so by d-bag people after the character was created or so named. It reminds me of the episode of the Simpsons when they used Homer's name to character to characterise a blunder. I am certain this is the case with Derpy. Bring back the original Derpy and let us change the meaning of Derpy!

Also, I have a friend who has a disability with behavior, control, focus, and is a social outcast. But the look on their face when they saw Derpy Hooves in the show just made my day... The gloom on their face when they saw that they changed her was just... miserable. "Why would they change Derpy? I liked old Derpy better."

With the whole Derpy argument, I don't think it's about just a silly character we can all adore and look up to. It's about showing a bunch of overreacting people that there are some things they just can't control, and that they need to STFU.

If anything the Derpy my kids have grown to love is an insperation to anyone with disablilities. WHY? We can have different colored ponies, laughing ones, honest, evil, disorganized so why not have Derpy the way she is? My children even said that they are more understanding of people with special needs because of the character. Bring her back the same. do not change her at all. and for God's sake people who were offended do not have or even know anyone who has disabilities. If it bothers them that bad cancel spoongebob, tom and jerry, young justice, dora, and any other show that has racial, stupid, or violent characters in it.

Even if Derpy /was/ intentionally supposed to be mentally handicapped, what message are we sending to our children by getting rid of her? By removing her from the series, are we telling our kids to stay away from mentally handicapped people? I think she should stay the way she is, and she should stand as a message that mentally handicapped people are in fact people too, and are just as deserving of friendship as anyone else.
Yeah, I don't actually watch the show. I'm just sick and tired of people who get offended over EVERY LITTLE THING.
