Yes masking fluid was one of the new materials (I had some problems with it, that is why some star a bit crocked), beside I got some nice inks I really wanted try mixing with watercolors.
I am glad you liked the folds, it is really nice praise from someone who color folds nicely

The inkmixing seems to have worked. I've not tried masking fluid yet but I somehow feel I've some control anyway.
The cloth seems to be quite heavy.
Stars are hard to make with, or without help. I usually end up with five pointed ones in all directions when I draw them. Not on drawings but scraps of paper.
Was the solution to go slow but not to slow with Promarkers to get an even, large surface? Then I might be to quick with my Sky blue one, unless its also old and the problems multiply. That's why I find your blue areas impressive.

I suggest you to try masking fluid, it has very nice potential usages (tho I only have used 2-3 times only so far, but everytime I get new ideas what to do with it)
Yeah, I stars are difficult to be drawn. Imade the clothes look heavy since she is holding starry sky or stars
Getting large surface colored with markers is quite difficult (I usually try to fill the background with something nowadays). I usually do it this way: first I color along with the bulletnib along the lineart then I use the chisel nib and during coloring I overlap around 50-40% with the previous stroker. Well it sounds ink wasting, becasue it is ink wasting, but this way ther won't be strokes. You have to be really quick, becasue thiner paper tend dry fast (lately that is why I use drawing carton or more thick paper because the ink doesn't dry fast and you can blend much easier). If the paper is thick then I sometimes add alcohol or blender first on the paper as a base or as a finish, so the color looks much less bold and if there are strokes left then those would disapper too (if you plan to use alcohol on the picture then I suggest do the background first) Well this how I do it, but do not know wheter there is a better way, since I am no expert
