Well, you don't use heavy shading, you rely on light shading and it makes it seem open. Like if you paint a room white instead of dark blue than it looks more open. Like that.

it was rather difficult for me too to give this one away , it's one of my favorites of all the drawings i made , but it was already half a year that she wanted a drawing from me, so i decided to give her this one XD
