Description My final for painting! I wanted to paint an animal that had a certain meaning or symbolism in mythology or legend. I chose a white stag which is sometimes seen as a guide or messenger from the other world. I don't know why white stags have been a reoccurring theme in my art lately.

Anyways I love painting, but I'm so happy I'm done with this class you have no idea. Great teacher but some people in that class were really irritating.

Done with acrylic on canvas.

I've always loved the white stag in mythology. Its sad that its not a very well known myth though.

Very sad. I love some of the stories behind them. I suppose people only really think of Harry Potter whenΒ 
they see a white stag though.Β

So very true. If they aren't the ones who think of Harry Potter then they are the ones who don't know anything about mythology and think its just a white deer.
