Thank you, that was what I was going for, just as Captain America represents Justice and America, Mickey in his own way represents a hero to all kids and adults who grew up with him and in a way America before he branched out to the world.
No the spider-man thing you are the second person I heard about the whole "make a deal with the devil" thing what happened? I love spider-man and to hear that blew me away.

The Cliffs Notes:

Marvel did a story called "Civil War," in which Captain America and Iron Man wound up on opposite ends of a debate over whether or not superheroes should register their IDs with the government. Iron Man was in favor of it, and Spider-Man, to show his support for Iron Man, went public with his ID and registered. He did so with the consent of Mary Jane and Aunt May, who both felt it was the best choice at the time.

Well, Aunt May ended up taking a bullet that was meant for Peter, and was put on life support. She told Peter she was ready to die and told him to go on and have a life and family with Mary Jane. Peter, on the other hand, decided her wishes were forfeit because he didn't want to have to feel guilty over her death, and even voiced his willingness to sell his soul if it would restore her to health.

Enter "One More Day" and Mephisto, who makes Peter and Mary Jane the following deal: He'll restore May, but their marriage will be wiped from existence. It will have never happened. Mary Jane tries to talk Peter out of going along with it, pointing out that May would rather die a peaceful death. Alas, Peter still doesn't want to live with having to feel any guilt over his actions leading to May's death, and guilt-trips Mary Jane into making the deal with him. And so their marriage is erased from history, as is Peter's unmasking, as is their daughter from the Clone Saga/SPIDER-GIRL (we even see little Mayday lamenting that Peter just doomed her to nonexistence). Peter, now newly single, becomes the biggest man-child walking, and an irresponsible prat to boot.

The reason for all this? Marvel honcho Joe Quesada hated the marriage and wanted to relive his swinging bachelor days through Spider-Man. Full stop. He turned Spider-Man into his Marty Stu self-insert (even the violation of Aunt May's dying wishes and the deal with the devil is what Quesada wished he could have done to stop his mother's death from cancer). Since then, if I commission any Spider-Man art, it's never the Peter Parker version. It's always Ben Reilly, his clone and temporary replacement, since Ben always showed a much better moral compass. It's also why I wince whenever Mickey is drawn as Spider-Man; I cannot for the life of me see Mickey ever making a deal with the devil just to avoid taking responsibility for his actions, and I don't want to see him portrayed as someone who did so and was glorified by the stooges at Marvel for it.

Wow... o.0. I loved the civil war story and how Jonah's reaction when he found out Peter Parker was Spider-man was hilarious. but to hear that, that's just "STUPID" I can't imagine Spider-Man choosing that path. Even in the 90s animated series, I felt he was smart enough not to make such a risky and foolish choice. Such a disappointment. Thanks for the update on that.

I saw it as an obvious thing since Captain America is a known leader and icon for America, Mickey is the same cause Disney practically owns almost everything. LOL
