I have the album! Yes... I think it does tell a story. I haven't quite sorted it out. To be honest, the album scares me a little bit. I think it's the sound of flesh being peeled away from bone at the end of Three Evils Embodied in Love and Shadow. o.o;

5-10 dollars for a pack of four or five depending on brand. best are.. not sure. got some upstairs so i'll look tonight. go to a craft cheap store, not an art store though. what type of city do you live in?

It's sad because of the semi-sad lyrics that inspired them (see the link in my description if you haven't already). I guess it gives off a sort of sad aura now that I look at it... =/ Hmm.

I am liking this piece very, very much. Methinks it is my favorite of all your work so far. Excellent use of inks. As for colours, methinks definitely go with darker pastels. It would suit it well -- and if you can cell-paint, I believe it would agree well with Mariah.
