I instantly recognized this, and I agree, what a great series! Your piece really captures that moment of realization from the character.
"Zima Blue" was interesting from the perspective of an artist, and a human trying to find their value in the world. I really liked that episode too. His thoughts slowly overtook his artwork, and then became it. It was a little sad in a way too, but also happy. I guess how you feel about it changes depending on your perspective of worth in the world.
Some of the art in this series was AMAZING as well, I thought it would be an anthology of small groups with limited resources, but it was fantastic and beautiful, and there were multiple styles to cover many tastes, as well as the storytelling having as much variation. Some of them I wish were longer to flesh out the world more, and others were perfect length. I also really like that this series was animated, but for adults, and for the most part, not a comedy. I'd love to see more works of animation with an intended adult audience that isn't just humor.
