I might need to do a commission soon to get another portrait of this character.

I always loved her, She was such a sweet girl. I felt sorry for her even as a child.

You've done this so beautifully. I agree, I was glad the movie adaptation was different. Though I watched the movie first. I started reading the books, I've bought the first three already and am nearly done with Interview with The Vampire. Even without the vampiric elements, I believe it would be a great book for anyone to read. Highly recommended.
And I am so happy that you've done a piece featuring dear Claudia. You've depicted her wonderfully.

I suspect the MPAA rating system drove a lot of the changes between the book and the film. I liked the cinematic "Interview..." but the "Queen of the Damned" movie tried to cram two much, two books- The Vampire Lestat and The Queen of the Damned- into one movie. Add the tragedy of Aaliyah's death and that film was doomed.

You nailed the character of that pint-sized predator down to a tee, Nanfe, great work!
Movies and books are like apples and oranges; both can be good, but never the same.
