Description This is a cat rendition of my family. My Girlfriend wanted something for the bedroom wall, and she likes leopard, and tiger prints, so I figured that this would go good. The two leopards in the center represent her and I, and our children are surrounding us. Nicholas is the Tiger, Micheal is the Puma, and Britt is the Panther...

Poser 6, VUE 5, and Photo Imapact 6 were used to make this piece. This is about two weeks in the making, and had to be rendered in parts, and later fused together. Even with 1 gig of ram, and 256mb of vidio mem, I am bottoming out. I have been looking at a Dell XPS 600 as a replacement, and retiring my HP to my children, and girlfriend. The new computer is going to run about $5500 after tax... but I want it so bad I can taste it... Besides art, I'm a game nut....

Yeah Vue 5 Infinate that I have just seems to suck RAM like crazy for some reason. I don't think it's as good at memory managing as it should be for this type of program. Renders pretty decent though.

It is much better than Bryce 5 or even 5.5.... but yah, I know what you mean..... I get absolute fantastic renders from 3D Studio Max, but the program is so damn hard to use for scenes, and atmoshers require multiple plugings... For now... I guess this is the program to use.

I have been able to do a background image in Bryce and then put that as the background in Lightwave and then I just match the haze and fog to what I used in Bryce and match one distant light in Lightwave to what I had the sun set as in Bryce. Robin Woods has a new tutorial for it at her web site that I came across.
