PERSONALITY

Personality(+) Noir wouldn't consider herself positive in very many ways-- she's lacked self confidence for a long while before she became who she is today. Regardless, she is a hard worker and determined to get the job done and get it done right. She doesn't like slackers, and is a go-getter most of the time choosing to take control of a project whenever needed. She does get loving at times, to those she has gotten very close to, and cares for them greatly-- so much so that it would physically pain her if anything were to happen to them and they leave her, but she isn't clingy about it. She's pretty good at keeping her mind clear in situations, and can work under pressure rather well. She doesn't really rely on very many people, even though she can get attached to certain people more than others, and is good at being independent.

Personality(-) Noir isn't a team player, in the simplest of terms. She hates cooperating and won't do so if she feels like she doesn't need to or that she can do it herself better. She is also rather serious, not one for jokes and oftentimes getting irritated with villains that have a more playful and joking side. She can come across as being a blank slate, having little to no emotions to express until she snaps and becomes passive aggressive if pushed too far. She isn't all the way emotionless though, as anger and irritability are more of her common feelings. She can be fake if need be, playing people if it's something she needs to do to get further, and can act very well-- even being able to cry on command.

Likes:

-Long hair and combing hair, as well as accessorizing it. She doesn't do this herself, but she will sometimes read magazines and look at how they style their hair.
-If she likes you, affection is something she's not against. She will cuddle, lean on someone, rest her head on theirs, ect. If pointed out she will deny it though, and stop doing it for a while before she forgets about her embarrassment and does it again.
-Karma and everything that comes with it. She likes to see people be put into their place.
-She's big on the aesthetic of nature, forests, plains, mountains, ect.
-She collects stickers, as a side hobby.

Dislikes:

-Walking bare footed-- she can't stand her bare feet on any kind of ground. As such, she's always wearing socks.
-Baking and or cooking. She's never been good at it, so she leaves that to anyone else she partners up with for the day.
-Mazes and puzzles frustrate the crap out of her, so she avoids it.
-People trying to read her mind/get behind why she does things. She's not here for a therapy session, nor does she want to open up to you.
-In addition, hates opening up and talking about her feelings. She finds it useless and rather annoying, not wanting people to feel bad for her in any kind of way.

HISTORY

ABOUT:

Noir, formally known as Ide Naoko, wasn't always the hardened criminal which she turned out to be in the present. Those who would have known her knew her to be reserved, a girl in a bubble wanting to stay away from trouble and all the misfortunes that it brought. Naoko was born an only child to a rather stable family, although her father was absent and left the family right off the bat she still had a mother who would do her best to care for her child, no matter the cost. Naoko's mother did struggle for money and maintaining food in their home, but she always managed to provide, and times when she couldn't the girl would always try to pick up extra jobs after school whenever she could. Although her mother was caring and gave her what she could, Naoko was distant from the beginning, her seemingly void personality making it hard for her mother to connect with her, and Naoko seemed to have quite the bursts of temper from time to time. Naoko found it hard to make friends, her one and only friend Tatsuki ( Pixelhime ) seeming to be the only one who really understood her.

Life didn't go without it's hardships however, and despite her quiet and passive ways Naoko seemed to always attract a group of girls who would tease her and even pick fights with her no matter what she did. Naoko would try to avoid the group in her walks home from school, but try as she might they always managed to catch up with her and leave her with a couple of bruises or bloody noses. Naoko never once fought back, and even when her mother had noticed her coming home with marks she didn't want to talk about anything that had happened. She felt as if the girls had reasons for their actions, and when she had stumbled across one of the girls' father berating her and even laying his hands on her one day accidentally, she knew this was the case. She felt as if her actions were justified, the only way for this girl to vent out her feelings of her horrid life at home was to pick on others with less hardships than her.

The meets up had become normal to her, and the complicated relationship she had with the 'leader' of the group had become as entangled and complicated as ever. It was all a tragic butterfly effect from there, her friendship with her one and only friend Tatsuki also began falling apart as the girl had begun to slowly detach herself from her and ditch her for other things. Her passive nature had soon reached it's breaking point however, and when the girl had shoved Naoko into the pavement on a rainy afternoon at just the right time and caused her to hit her eye with the gravel below her; Naoko retaliated in the worst kind of way. A few terrified shrieks and rolls of thunder later, the pavement ran with red as the other two girls had fled from the scene, Naoko dropping a bloodied rock and stood in disbelief of what she had done.

The girl was hospitalized however she was not killed, but from then on her downward spiral only became worse. The fights increased, skipping classes and having little to no regard for public safety had been the only thing on the young girls mind. The friend she had come to love as a sister, maybe even more, now didn't even bother to speak to her in favor of a mysterious winged boy. She was tired of being pushed around, and laying down like a tired dog taking whatever punishment anyone wanted to give her. After her small delinquent acts had become more dangerous, Naoko had stumbled across The Hero Killer: Stain's video on the internet. She had never walked the path of righteousness, it wasn't something that was in her fortune. She robbed and fought to live, and she felt as if the world had been ran by heros for far too long. The night after watching the video she had made up her mind, and ran away-- staging it as if she had gone missing by foul play.

It didn't take long for her to decide to join the ranks of villains, finding her efforts and quirk better suited for this line of work than anything. She had eventually crossed paths with Dabi one day accidentally, almost getting engulfed by his flames had it not been for her quick thinking. This had caused him to keep a mental note of her, and eventually she teams up with the League of Villains and then eventually, the Paranormal Liberation Front.

QUIRK DESCRIPTION:

Quirk name: Emission

She is able to release any amount of Co2 into the air from her pores, being able to displace oxygen in the air of anyone around her. High amounts can cause a variety of health issues, and she uses this to her advantage.

Strengths:

+ The higher the amount of Co2, the higher the various issues in her targets it can cause. For example; headaches, dizziness, restlessness, a tingling or pins or needles feeling, difficulty breathing, sweating, tiredness, increased heart rate, elevated blood pressure, coma, asphyxia, and convulsions.

+ She prefers to be indoors when using her quirk, this way she is able to seal the amount of Co2 she produces to cause more damage.

+ While she is only able to produce a limited amount, with practice she will be able to cause people to pass out and even worse symptoms.

+ She will fight with weapons such as knifes with her weakened enemy if she isn't able to knock them out.

+Carbon dioxide is odorless and colorless thus making it undetectable if she's using it.

Weakness:

- Open spaces mean that her releasing more Co2 in the air won't do very much damage, so she has to plan her attacks carefully.

- The effect of carbon dioxide poisoning on others varies, so she can't really predict how someones body will react to high amounts of it an she has to plan accordingly.

- Overuse of the quirk can have negative effects on her body as well, mostly internal as she can begin to cough or throw up blood. She can also begin to feel nauseous and even pass out in extreme cases.

- Hyoga Yukimura - Team Ash Co-Commander alongside Noir, the two were paired up after the League became the Paranormal Liberation Front. Due to their similar quirks, they team up rather well and their attacks are twice as lethal. Noir's usually blunt and harsh personality is muted whenever she is around him, which surprises other members of the Army. Both are unware of the fact that they are in fact related, sharing the same father but different mothers. Hyoga kills their father early on in life due to his abuse however, so nothing was ever brought up about Noir. She can't help but feel something familiar about him, but she can't be bothered to think too hard about it.

ENEMIES

- Tatsuki Sasorisasu ( Pixelhime )- A once childhood friend and middleschool love, Noir now resents Tatsuki and everything she stands for. She had held this grudge against the girl since her initial 'betrayal' during middle school, where she felt she abandoned her and chased after an aspiring hero boy. Thinking she had cared about her, but now seeing she left her, she made the final decision to turn to villainy after seeing there was no place for her anymore in modern society. After years of being a villain, during the Villain vs Hero war she meets with Tatsuki again, and old wounds are reopened in an epic battle of Tatsuki simply trying to make Noir turn herself in peacefully-- to which Noir isn't going without a fight.

RANDOM FACTS!:

-Her hair is not naturally dull red-- she dyed it whenever she first became involved with criminal activity. Her eyelashes give away her actual hair color, being white, but she finds it to be a nice contrast whenever she notices it in the mirror.

-Whenever she is eventually defeated by Tatsuki ( Pixelhime ) and taken to jail, she goes on to find out that she's 3 months pregnant. The child is born into foster care, however by a wild turn of events, the baby boy is adopted by Tatsuki and her partner Keigo i.e Hawks.
