Illusion and her sister Mirage are demon witch ponies that live in the Everfree forest and give spells to ponies that seem helpful at first but turn horribly wrong. Mirage makes the spells work and convinces the ponies of it, only to make Illusion turn them against the ponies. They feed on the misery that the ponies feel when the spell goes haywire.
