Ever since drawing this Sans , I've wanted to revisit the character. It didn't feel like I'd done him 100% justice. After hearing this catchy song Toby Fox posted on YouTube, my brain wouldn't let me rest until I'd drawn Dancetale Sans again. Literally. I've been working almost non-stop for 12 hours to finish this xvx

Thank you! I've been wanting to push myself outside my comfort zone a bit by incorporating more shading, perspective (or at least more extreme perspective), and backgrounds into my art. It felt--for a while--that I'd decided to settle into the flats and heavy outlines, but I didn't want to become complacent. While the previous style is definitely still valid, I really wanted to see how far I could push myself, hence the title "Go Big or Go Home" xD

Aww, thank you! >v< I loved playing with the pose and the lighting. It was a lot of fun trying to figure out where all the light sources were lol xD
No problem! Anjel-X actually linked it in a status post a while back from Toby's YouTube channel (so many links in the chain) but it was the main driving force for the picture, so it felt wrong not to include it

I'm really trying to incorporate more perspective (which I'm weak at) and backgrounds (which I'm very weak at) into my art. Aside from random character doodles/designs, I've wanted my art to feel a bit more finished. Hopefully I can keep this trend going xD

I too am practicing a lot lately as my personal improvement-rate in art is rather slowly developing only and I hadn't had that much time to sketch.
Being more of a painter at heart, I do backgrounds better than characters, which is why I practice more characters at the moment and doing the sketches for my comic. XD
Being an artist is love and passion that expresses in lines and colors, so let's both keep up with doing what we love.
Just don't overwork yourself, alright?

I watched a ton of breakdancing videos before working on this to get a feel for how the moves actually flow and change. Then I watched some tutorials because my brain was just like "that is so COOL OMG" and got very little info out of the first few xD There was this one where the guy kept talking about 'butt spins' and I snickered every time he said 'butt' >v>' I have the brain of a child lol
