I'm just doing and adding in things that I think should be there. Part of why a lot of this takes me so long >v>'
It just makes sense to me that a life-size Sans doll would have a soul inside him xD

Omg that detail is so precious TwT you crafted a beautiful soul and now it shall go away forever out of sight.... but such inspiring words... it's like breathing life into a golem... by giving it words to live by TuT

NanoBanana In reply to TheNor [2019-06-18 16:44:39 +0000 UTC]
Inside the soul is actually a folded piece of paper with as much information about Sans as I could fit written onto it. Things like: his favorite food, his friends, his family, etc. It's far from a complete detailing of him, but it's as close as I could get. ;v;
I've always been inspired by stories where toys can be brought to life by the love that their creators put into them (like the Velveteen Rabbit and The Cat Returns). I know such things are just stories, but that doesn't stop me from believing in them just a little >v>'

I can use my magic powers to shrink you... oh wait! You need to finish making him first! Okay fine, i won't use my powers to trap you in a jar JUST YET...
Seriously though that sort of attention to detail is beautiful TuT
(Hmmm maybe I should make my own boyfriend...)

lol! xD
As weird as this may sound, I don't think I'd mind being tiny? I was the tallest girl in my class until the end of high school (a guy friend of mine shot past me and got a 2ft tall mohawk as well, so I felt even shorter) but even now I have trouble finding long enough pants and large enough gloves >v>'
Thank you ^_^ I can only hope the rest of him comes out as nicely. I'm a little worried about getting the bone shapes right, but if worst comes to worst I'll just model them in Blender lol
(Hehe, don't ya mean bonefriend?) xD

Your sewing skills are so good compared to mine TvT

I've had a lot of practice >v<
I used to make my own costumes and clothes when I was younger (late high school, early college) since I didn't usually have a lot of money. So I learned to mend things, taught myself different stitches and eventually got to the point where I could just make stuff if I thought about it carefully enough. It's definitely a good skill to have though. Not too many people actually know how to sew or even use a sewing machine these days >v>'
Life skills! They're important! xD

NanoBanana In reply to Cardamom-Thyme [2019-06-18 16:52:30 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, I usually hand sew things as well. Especially recently since everything I'm doing is too small or fiddly to break out the machine >v>'
I actually learned how to use the sewing machine back when middle school's still offered Home Economics. No idea if they still do that though o_O
And yeah, I agree, hand sewing is super time-consuming. It's best just to put some music or a movie on in the background and just go. xD I've got several YouTube playlists I watch/listen to when I sew just to pass the time.

o_O
What a weird thing to call it. I guess maybe Home Ec carried the stigma that it was only for girls?? Which is weird since more than half my class was guys???
