Based on the electric eel, which (as it turns out) is a kind of knifefish and not an eel at all. o_OSo, bit of a story with this one. Once MerMay really got going, I started making lists of ideas to draw and what days to draw them on. I thought, "Oh! An electric eel! That'll be neat, right?" Welp, turns out, they're kinda drab. Oops?
To counteract the drabness, I gave him a mohawk. Now he kinda looks like a Moray eel... -_- I can't win with this one.
