Description Tuffty Bitties, Ox Star Tuffty (c) NanoBanana
Bittybones AU (c) Fucken-Crybaby

=== HOW DO I ADOPT A TUFFTY? ===
You just decide to and do! They are totally and completely free for anyone to adopt, so no need to ask (I'll always say yes). You can adopt as many as you like, just make sure to take care of them. You can write about your Tuffty/Tuffties or draw them, change their clothes, give them accessories, etc. The types described here are like describing the differences between a German Shepard dog and a Great Dane dog. They're all Tuffties, just different "breeds", if you will.

If you adopt a Tuffty, please make sure to credit me for the creation of the species and type. Also, DO NOT adopt them just to kill or maim them (or let other Bitties and creatures kill or maim them). Also also, DO NOT declaw them, crop their ears, or dock their tails! That's just cruel.

=== STAR TUFFTIES ===
Star Tuffties are a special type with subtypes that are loosely based on the eastern zodiac signs. They are always available (once they come out), so don't be afraid to adopt one!

Star Tuffties can only produce offspring with other Star Tuffties and have a special slit-like darkness in the middle of their eyelights (like cats' eyes) (no other Tuffty type may have these eyelights).

Ox Star Tuffty
    Years of the Ox Star Tuffty: ..., 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009, 2021, 2033, ...
    Height / Tail Length: 19.1" - 22.8" (48.5 - 57.9 cm) / 7.6" - 11.4" (19.3 - 29.0 cm)
    Ear Types: Long, upright ears with very short, fine hair on the outside that are close-set near the top of the skull; they can rotate and swivel
    Fur: They grow fur on their ears, tails, feet, and a tuft on their heads; they grow extra, fine fur on their elbows and heels; their coloration can be white to black-brown with spots or patterns found on real-life cows and oxen.
    Diet: Vegan (they can become extremely ill if they eat meat or other animal products!)
    Favorite Food: Based on the individual.
    General Opinion: Very positive! Star Tuffites (in general) are seen as signs of good luck and a healthy environment. Ox Star Tuffites are seen as honest and trustworthy, therefore the people they associate with and trust are also seen as such. They represent the spirit of hard-workers and confidence.
    Traits: reliable, fair, compassionate, confident and inspire confidence in others, calm, patient, methodical, trustworthy, serious, quiet, gifted with a lot of common sense, not generally sociable, can have strong opinions, stubborn, they dislike failing at any given task, they do not like their opinions being challenged (tread lightly), they have a long fuse and do not lose their temper easily (but when they do, watch out!), in their anger they can become impulsive and even violent at times (usually towards their environment, not others), best as a companion for those that have a quiet and structured home-life
    Notes: They are not territorial and tend to live as loners or with one or two others. They are quietly supportive parents but will always have an ear kept on the swivel to listen for threats. They prefer to cautiously leave an area rather than defend it from invaders. Star Tuffties do not shed. This has led to family or close-friend grooming sessions to straighten out knots and remove debris from the longer, fine fur. Star Tuffties are almost always wild, but will sometimes appear to those that seem to resonate with their personalities. Not much is understood about this "resonating" however. If a Star Tuffty no longer senses the vibration between them and an adopter, they will leave without a word (this seems to only occur when the adopter or Star Tuffty undergoes a major personality change). Star Tuffty eyelights are round but can have "rings" inside or outside the main eyelight as well as a slit of darkness in the middle (like a cat's eyes) (no other Tuffty type may have this feature to their eyelight).
    Anatomical Notes: Star Tuffties have long, fine fur that grows on the tip of their tail, elbows, and heels. Star Tuffties do not start growing their single horn until adolescence and it becomes full-grown a year after they become adults. They do not shed this horn and cannot regrow it if it is lost! An older Star Tuffty with an undamaged horn is held in high regard. Star Tuffties are sometimes hunted illegally for their horns and fur as they are extremely high in quality (the horns are often turned into clock movement parts since they are extremely resistant to wear while the fur is either spun into extremely strong thread or woven into fabric for strength and its soft feel).
    Special Notes: Star Tuffties have slightly stronger magic than normal Tuffty Bitties, especially so during their respective years! This can manifest in a number of ways, but generally Star Tuffties are healthier and more energetic during their years. They cycle through a 12-year period. Ox Star Tuffties generally display greater strength and become more attuned to the state of natural things around them during their years.
    Breeding Notes: Star Tuffties can only produce offspring with other Star Tuffties and will only ever have one or sometimes two offspring at a time. Star Tuffties have a slightly higher chance of hybridizing with other Star Tuffty types. Star Tuffties CANNOT inherit the Bestial Trait ! They CAN inherit (or "come with") the Dark-Bone and/or Full-Light traits.
