This looks simply breathtaking. I like the colors used, along with the slight minimalistic art style. I can sort of understand what I'm looking at without even reading the description.

Really great composition! So many wonderful shapes, good use of colour.
There is so much going on here. How do I structure this? It seems impossible.
I'll start with the red parts. There seems to be a reddish background, textured in a way that suggests a sky. The foreground red parts seem to be assembled in concentric ellipses, possibly in child swirls. This, being one of the first things to be seen, prepares the mind for the strong dynamics. Which is where I'll continue.
The hair, the pose, the frazzle of the sleeve (and the general behaviour of the clothing), the smoky background full of shadows and creatures and more apparent concentric ellipses, they all make it look like a massive motion is frozen in time - or, maybe this is better, some sort of slow motion is going on here, like being underwater.
This is where it gets confusing for me. The crosses and the reddish background suggest to me that this takes place on solid ground (as opposed to underwater, where the light of the surface wouldn't come out as red), while everything else looks like it is under water.
Since I am now past the starting point of confusion, I might as well go forth, because the confusion doesn't simply stop. The hair is... a fish? Wow, so many little subtleties, I like it!
Most of this image is held in a rather sketchy style, enforcing the underwater effect and giving room for focussing on the important stuff: The middle part, in contrast, is well rendered out. But it's not the only thing in focus. The red triangles in the foreground are also sharply displayed... and I don't really know why! It doesn't make much sense to me.
Another thing standing out clearly is the fish bones - interestingly in green, contrasting the red and black parts, nice little detail!
All in all, this is very impressive. There's only one thing really bothering me. While the rest, to me, could make sense stylistically, one part that is in focus is too dominant. The texture of the dress is interesting, but the front part around the stomach is a bit too dark and too sharp, it stands out too much to me.
