I am ashamed to admit, the pose is referenced from a photo.Until I get comfortable with Sonar's design (which some of you may notice the arrow change and some colour tweeking) I'm going to use references to help; I keep getting so frustrated when drawing her recently. So I broke down, Googled some stuff and happen to be very pleased with this! I cannot draw feral/animals on my own, so this was an accomplishment.
It was nice to draw something for me...and that isn't an ATC or badge. I was going to do a BG, but decided not to push my luck with it. I plan to draw her, her mate Majime and some other subsonas of friends between commissions. :3
I actually have a feral reference of Sonar sketched, but I'm not happy with the anatomy, so I'll be practicing more before it's finalized.

I never quite understood the interspieces thing like Sonar here and Mad-Cheshires characters. Always looked interested, but myself, I can't put them together. I must say I'm a big fan of Sonar's colour sceme XD soooo into browns right now

I really, really like. Working from a reference is a skill in and of itself, so I say you pulled off the pose nicely. I love how you drew her feet, both the front and the back, and Sonar herself is so cute~ I love her face and poofy tail, and the colors you picked for her design are nice.
