A dramatic shot of Quickdraw's lovely face <3 He's really grown up since he first arrived back home last summer, he went from a scraggly and malnourished two year old to an incredibly tall and studly Quickdraw <3 He was also the first horse that my deviantart friends have been able to watch grow up ^^ Makes him a special (though occaisionally annoying) boy

He was born April 19th 2011 so jeez the memories
Up to 1 year old:

He had a normal foal life, the same charisma most foals have at this time. When he was approaching a year old though he started to get a little pushy or impatient with us while handling him, we figured getting him trained would be a good idea, especially since his gaits were so good and he was a pretty big show prospect.
Up to 2 years old:

He had been sent up to Phillip's barn for training and man had he grown but something horrible had happened, he was resisting every kind of training that was tried on him with them and on top of that he had become a living hell to be around. I'm talking things like lashing out at people walking by in the cross ties, biting, pawing, and picking fights with every horse, he did lead easy though xD
Leading easy wasn't enough though, I wanted to be able to get on his back and not wake up three weeks later from a coma and so we sent him to the Amish with hesitation, the last horse we sent came back skinny as a rail but well trained so we sent him to a different man, he seemed gentler so we'd give it a shot. The testosterone supply from Quickdraw's body was also cut because he was gelded before going there
2-2.5 years old:

He returned skinnier than the last horse but dead broke, emotionally and physically. He can pull a cart and plow as well as all kinds of under saddle things but he has scars that built up on his back after the training as well as some along his hooves that make him unable to ever show at a walking horse show. He is still healing from the horrible shoeing the Amish had done to him as well.
now:

His weight is back and he has grown to over 16hh but the neigh of a baby horse, seriously Stanley's neigh is louder xD

anyways why I did that little biography I dunno but I just did >.> He's a Tennessee Walking Horse gelding of black roan sabino coloration.
