They don't call them "rainbow" lorikeets for nothing! Every color there is, is on these birds. They are like little splashes of the rainbow fallen to the earth!

Very nicely done! I have found art academy to be a complete blast to work with. From the looks of it, so have you!

I've never worked with anything quite like it, and I've used Photoshop, Painter, I've used various kinds of drawing tablet too. The graphics engine is so beautifully grainy and instinctive, I can't explain it. It's just been wonderful to work with, a cross between paints and pencils. The best of all of them, mixed up into one little package!

Yeah, I just love it! I've been messing around with it quite a bit, and really think it's capable of so much more than people seem to think it is.
Will be keeping an eye on your stuff!

Thanks, back atcha! I like the comic pictures, they're awesome! But I'm obsessed with comic art! I can't really get a smooth gradient happening on it yet, but I figure it just takes a lot of blending and patience, yeah?

Totally a patience thing. I'm trying to find the right balance between smooth gradients, and just bold splashes of color. Last night I spent the whole night painting on my DSi, and had to force myself to quit and sleep!

Oh, been there, done that!! I try to limit my DSi work between doing other things. Though I have an excuse to work on stuff lately, since I've been using the programme to make thumbnails for my paintings in an art show next year. Really handy!

The real birds are total boofheads! Jewel-like, but very silly! Thank you, it's hard to go wrong colouring a rainbow lori.

There are Lorikeets here too. But I think they migrated because of the cold.
