well, I find so far that it works best to do your base as light as possible, then add some shading with the same color, and keep layering until it has this look. Then I firm the edges with some colored pencil. But no pen, it's too hard an edge

lol yea well i just bought some new markers to help with shading so i can do darker shading 8D i cant wait ive used then a little bit but they didnt like the paper i was useing so turned out darker XD lol

so far, the best I have used is bristol board. absorbant and very smooth. It also takes layering quite nicely <3 Ohh, show me what you get once you use them ^^ I'm going to go draw a few right now <3

yea i was using watercolor paper because it doesnt bleed when i use my prisma markers and i can use my watercolors for the bg XD lol but no i think i will stick to the bristol from now on XD that way the color will look the same all around lol ^^
