Prompt 1; Harbinger - Male - Pride Healer - Earth and Life

Harbinger stared in horror as the survivors made their return to the Pride lands. He had heard from those who ran ahead that things were bad but he was in total shock by what he saw. He has expected to be busier, to be rushing to save more lives but they had lost more then they would be saving today. He felt a searing pain tearing at his chest as realization sunk in. The lions that escaped were no normal lions, they were monsters. With a deep breathe he calmed his angry soul and raced into the fray, as lions swarmed around seeking the attention of healers or crying for loved ones. He knew he would not have the necessary energy to heal them all and had to resort to herbs for many of the minor injuries, saving as much energy as he could for those who needed it most. He raced from lion to lion, blocking out the horror of how this happened and focused on the blood and wounds of his fellow lions.

As he fell asleep, having used nearly all his energy to heal lions, he felt like he was empty and weightless. His jaw was clenched and his eyes were squeezed shut. He could not get the image of blood out of his mind, and the feeling of tar seemed to stick to his fur, dragging him down even though it only covered his paws. This had been one of the worst days he had had in a while and he had seen a lot. He was starting to really miss the days of peace they had under Aeon though he knew none of this was the fault of Ethereal. As he slept and dreamed of blood and tar he tossed and turned as if he was being clawed and jabbed. It was the longest night he had ever experienced.

"Calm down Tsukiyo."
"How can I calm down?! Yuri is in there and the Arcturus has ordered they destroy the arch! My Yuri is in there!" Tsukiyo didn't even look back as he raced towards the arch that led to Z-99. It was not in view, they were still far away. News spread quickly about the battle that was transpiring and all Tsukiyo could feel was terror and rage as he thought about his mate.
"There is nothing you can do!" Aries roared and soon the two were rolling through the dirt, Aries trying desperately to stop his friend from doing something stupid. "If she is alive they will get her out! They won't leave her there to die!" Aries growled in the face of warrior. Tsukiyo was trained to fight where as Aries fighting skills were limited, but if it came to it Aries could have easily beat Tsukiyo with his element.
"I don't want to lose her Aries... I've never loved anyone like this before..." Tsukiyo's eyes brimmed with tears, startling even the seasoned warrior and making Aries clench his jaw as he realized how much pain his friend was going through, how much worry filled his soul and could only imagine how it was twisting his gut into unforgivable knots.
"I know it hurts, we have lost many, but you must understand. If those lions could kill that many trained guards, what would they do to the lions of this planet? How many innocent lives would they kill? This damage is minimal compared to how things will turn out if they don't shut that portal!" Tsukiyo was silent as the words sunk in. They stung like claws tearing into his chest, but he knew they were true. "Yuri knew there were risks being in that rank even though it was not on the front lines. She is stronger then she looks." Aries let the darkly colored warrior to his paws. His cheeks were stained with salty tears and his jaw was clenched painfully as he thought about Yuri.
"Please tell me she is alright..." Was all he could mumble through the pain.
"I'm sorry Tsukiyo. I can not give you that answer." Never before had Tsukiyo cried so much or shown weakness like this in front of Aries, but he soon found himself burying his face into Aries shoulder as he tried not to think about how likely it was the Yuri did not make it off Z-99 alive or dead, that the chances of him never seeing her again were higher then him being able to hold her one last time.
