I don't think it's wrong, it is their own perspective of Chara but when it comes to the game, they aren't the evil one. I agree, especially to those who are ignorant and blame Chara for genocide.

...By the way, there is one thing that astonizes me about fandoms in general. The fanboys(girls), they take game/cartoon/whatever else they idolize 100% seriously and talk 'bout it as if it was real. They're also always applying those stamps and cliches to the characters. ('Chara is evil' (not), 'Sans always makes puns' (he's nowhere near as 'punny' as the fans make him out to be), etc.)
Like, 55% (probably wrong) of all them fandoms are this way, and only 45% (probably wrong) are rational 'bout the thing they like.

Well some are in between, I guess I am one of them. Truthfully if I didn't know Undertale, I will be more depressed right now. It really helped me from my saddest time and it was UT that drives me to be a better artist and person. That's why I love it so much and feel like it is something real. Tho some of the fandom can be a bit I dunno, too crazy about it. I won't judge, if it makes them happy then let them be. But I don't like those who gets too offensive and starts to target artists or anyone else because of their own beliefs that not all will agree

Well, it's just that they often go so far as to insult the person horribly on behalf of the thing they idolize... I've seen it more then once. That kinda' obsession is not healthy, in my opinion.
