So it's stated many times throughout the anime and manga that Takuma is very un-vampire like and that he doesn't mind the sun as much as the rest of them. He's also much more happy-go-lucky and cheerful than the rest of the night class. Kaname's mother made Kaname hang out with Takuma as a child in hops that Takuma's cheerful nature would rub off on her son. Without much success.

...And I've been wanting to cosplay Takuma for years! Some of you may complain that the hair is too long, but I'm cosplaying based off the manga and he has longer hair there. (I do need to cut the wig slightly still though) and I'm not wearing the jacket here coz it was waaaay too hot -.-
