Ah yes, the proper and only way to deal with Space Hitler. This piece was a challenge. I’m not used to painting faces with more realistic proportions, especially ones with extreme expressions so most of the time was spent trying to get WD’s expression just right. Also procrastinated on her gem because I haven’t drawn crystals or glass in forever and I sort of forgot how? I think it turned out pretty good tho lol.

I know Steven would never do this in a million years, nor would I want him to do it because it would feel like a betrayal of literally the whole message behind the show. This was just for fun and because, idk, it looks cool or whatever.

Btw just finished Future and I actually thought it was really good. Like it wasn’t without its flaws, but it was a satisfying conclusion to the series and I really loved the ending. It kind of helped smooth over some of the issues with the main series finale which was a relief. Spinel’s character kinda got butchered tho loool. Would love to see the show return someday, whatever form it takes. It will probably be a very long time before then however, as sad as that makes me feel. Watch it get a shitty half ass reboot when I’m like 30 or something.
