Fruno was born and raised in the Chasm Region's capital, from a small and happy family near the shipping docks. Fruno had always been interested in exploring and seeing the sights of Equira, so took an apprentice job on a local airship freighter as soon as age permitted; eventually earning enough to purchase a small airship to work independently on. Incredibly friendly and optimistic, Fruno finds making friends easy and has the best intentions for others at heart. Though flirtatious and go-lucky, Fruno is far from naive and hates to see others taken advantage of.
Fruno's best friend and companion is a Flashfly called Enru. Fruno had little interest in studying to become a Monseer, so never went on to obtain a ranking or Guardian, but met the little bug on a delivery trip to the west coast of the Chasm. The tiny hatchling fell into the airship and was found by Fruno, who fed and cared for it until growing into a bright and curious little monster; choosing to stay with its savior even past maturity. Enru has proven helpful in dense fogs and can find routes easily for Fruno to use while flying the ship; competitively making them sought out by customers when the weather is normally too poor for most freighters to fly.
