Hadouken! Singer, from that music video, "Turn the Lights Out"His name's "James Smith" - Man, that's so common
Once again, it looks nothing like the way I wanted it to, but the reference pic was pretty blurry, I paused the music video to draw it
!!Someone out there needs to give me some tips on blending!! I haven't been able to make it dark, smooth, OR precise >:/!!
Is there like a blending stick tutorial out there? Cheese...
Well, tell me what u think!! And I kno it looks like my progress has taken 3 steps back, but its actually gotten better, trust me!!

I did something similar recently - tried to draw from a music video screenshot - and it's really difficult! I'm so used to drawing things with really straightforward lines, so the shadows were really frustrating...
If it helps you at all, one thing I did was take my picture and mess with the curves in Photoshop. That way, it was easier to see what was pure black, and what was different levels of gray. For some reason, it made drawing the original easier.

Oh, I did something similar!! I have an liquid plasma screen, and when I look at the monitor from an angle it enhances the contrast
