It was not his day; first off his stupid ex girlfriend wouldn't leave him and his new girlfriends alone. Secondly she was insisting that he was still in love with him and his girlfriend believed her. That annoying, manipulating, little witch; because of that he was now without a date and without a girlfriend to propose to. Ichigo was sitting in the park, he was alone watching couples smile, people walk their dogs, and children play. He and Rukia had planned on having children but now that Orihime told Rukia that he loved her it would never happen.
Rukia was eating at a restaurant with Orihime; she was listening to her babble about how she and Ichigo were still in love. Sadly Orihime accused Rukia of stealing Ichigo away from her. It hurt Rukia inside today was going to be the day she told Ichigo about their first child. Two months ago Rukia and Ichigo were both completely drunk and things happened, thus no right minded thought about using protection so she got pregnant.
"Rukia are you listening to me?" Orihime asked with an evil glare in her eye.
"Yes I am sorry Inoue-san." Rukia apologized.
"It is okay so where was I? Oh! Well Ichigo never really ate any off my food; it was the strangest thing in the world. I mean who doesn't like my food? But I mean he is really good looking! Well I am sure you two never did anything I mean look at you, nothing compared to me." Orihime ranted on and on.
Rukia was about the slap the girl, they were best friends in high school. It was only after the war was when Renji and Ichigo were fighting over her not Orihime. Renji had gotten permission from her brother and told Ichigo so Ichigo asked out Orihime. After a month Ichigo couldn't stand her I mean the girl's ego and bitchyness had gone up by three hundred percent. Glancing over at the clock Rukia realized that Ichigo didn't care about this girl anymore.
"Ah I am sorry but I have to go meet my brother Orihime-san it was nice talking to you." Rukia said leaving Inoue alone in the restaurant still talking about herself and how she is more important.
Running off to the park Rukia had found Ichigo who was crying. Rukia had never seen him cry about anything but on the day his mother had died. It broke her heart to see him so upset about something that she did.
"Ichigo please don't cry. I am sorry that I believed Inoue; I know that I have spent a few hours with her I know that you don't care about her anymore." Rukia told him hoping that he would respond.
"Rukia?!? How did you find me? I mean I hid my spiritual pressure." Ichigo stated completely baffled.
"I know that you come here to relax when you are mad." Rukia told him smiling.
"I guess but I have something to ask you." Ichigo told her.
"Really. I have some important news to tell you." Rukia said with a hopeful tone in her voice.
"Well let me ask you something first." Ichigo replied kneeling down on one knee and grabbing the little box in his pocket and opened it, "Rukia Kuchiki, will you marry me?"
"Of course I will you idiot. Stay like that I am now taller than you!" Rukia answered him kissing his lips.
"Now what was that you were going to tell me?" Ichigo asked her slipping the ring around her finger.
"You know how we wanted to have kids? Well we are going to have one in seven months." Rukia nervously replied.
To Rukia's surprise Ichigo picked her up and spun her around, "I am so happy! Thank you Rukia."
"Well it is half of your doing Ichigo, now we just have to tell Nii-sama." Rukia pointed out.
Carefully Ichigo put her down and sat back down on the bench and curled up into a ball. He had totally forgotten to tell Byakuya about his proposal to Rukia and so he knew Byakuya would not approve. Second he would probably be castrated so no more kids for him and Rukia, so they would only have the child that Rukia was pregnant with. Thirdly Byakuya has a pole stuck up his ass, personality wise he doesn't have a heart at all.
"Ichigo, it will be okay I promise you." Rukia reassured him kissing his cheek.
