Rescue Station Three “Northern Rescue Express” is located on 86th Toledo St. Akron District,  North Atlantic City. Rescue Station Three is home to Rescue Three and The Swiftwater Rescue Unit. Rescue Station Three is the primary Rescue Station for District Three. Rescue Three Will respond to all structure fires and incidents with a second alarm or higher. The Swiftwater Response unit operates as an advanced Water and Scuba rescue unit and will be used to supplement the Dive Rescue Unit as needed. The Swiftwater Response Unit is the main Swiftwater unit of of two other SOC swiftwater units. Rescue Station Three is part of Battalion 10, Division 10 and District 3.


Rescue Three (Shops # RE0003) Rescue Three is staffed by up to: 1 FF/Engineer, 1 Lieutenant, 1 FF/Paramedic, and 3 FF/EMT's. Total normal staffing: 6 and maintains a ALS response level. Swiftwater Unit (Shops # SC2911) The Swiftwater Rescue Unit is staffed by up to: 1 FF/Engineer (EMT/Paramedic), 1 Lieutenant (EMT/Paramedic), and 1 of either FF/EMT and/or FF/Paramedics. Total normal staffing: 2 and maintains a First Responder response level. The Lieutenant and one FF/EMT or FF/Paramedic of Rescue Three will cross staff the Swiftwater Rescue Unit as needed. The Swiftwater Rescue Unit carries rope rescue equipment, dive rescue equipment, twenty five life jackets, two dry chemical extinguishers, one supplied air cart, twenty spare SCBUA bottles, ten wetsuits, one rigid hull inflatable boat, the boat's motor, fuel for the motor, one mobile data terminal, city map books, county map books, city wide hazard pre plan books, one floating stokes basket, two long back boards, one trauma jump bag, one oxygen jump bag, one maternity jump bag, one spare M-15 oxygen cylinder, and an AED.
