I'm doing some studies on male anatomy regularly so i think i could share them with you.I often combine the muscles into groups for easier use and a better understanding of the functionality.
It's easier to split them up at a later point to accentuate tension in some areas.
One last tip! If you are new to anatomy don't try to learn all of the muscles at once. It may result in ANATOMYPHOBIA ...
or you simply forget half of them overnight. Regular studies of a single part of the body are a good way though.
Just don't give up and think about it like bob ross. Every muscle needs a little friend

There's an american tv show called grey's anatomy, and the fairytale character is called grey. lol

The Fairy Tail character is actually named 'Gray' Gray Fullbuster. not grey, that's a color.

Actually both those spellings refer to the color gray/grey, and the character. Gray is just the more common spelling of his name. Grey is typically used in the UK, and gray in the US.

Mh, I see. There is an actual book on human physiology, concerning anatomy, called "Gray's Anatomy". It has been in print, with updates, since 1858, if I remember correctly. I believe, the person was making a literal comparison to mentioned book.

I think the head is very over looked.
I like to call that type of head the anime "police badge" skull.

I started out just attempting to draw bodies without learning about muscles and such. Over time I realized learning human anatomy really helps in the long run when you want to draw your characters slightly realistic.
