''stupid seagulls'' is a small series I composed these days of digital shots back from 2006.Photographies were taken on a cold sunrise by the adriatic sea.
the black&white was threated as if it was analogic (but unfortunately it is not)

Is the blur also digital? That'd be a shame... the digital sharpness maybe went a little over the top too...
The graytones remain the coolest feature of this shot, I think.

I was just pointing out that this was a digital shot and not a film one.
you may call it ''grain'' when you use film and it is a completely different thing from ''digital noise''.
The blur is due to the normal depth of field of a sigma 70-300 zoom.
the gray tones, which would have been great to print if this had been analogic, are what they are from a 16bit digital file.
they can't be compared to the soft scale of film and fiber based photographic paper.
