Ohohohoo! Man I really, really enjoyed drawing this character. She was hard BUT she's so well designed and like... PRECISE I didn't have much trouble transfering her over to my style. Not to mention she's wearing blue and we ALL know I love me some blue! Her red hair was a nice contrast too ;3.This beauty belongs to ~Noraboo so no stealing. Hope ya like it

The thing that really catches my attention is how all the clothing looks like seperate materials. The leggings look like nylon, the boots like pleather, the dress like something cotton, and the scarf looks like thick wool, at least to me. It really doesn't matter what they are, just that they look seperate from each other, succesfully creating the illusion.
I also love blue (its a very beautiful blue SoCal day here) and this character looks so good in it!
I love the way you paint. Especially skin. I think that's why I started looking at your work, is the way you paint faces. There is so much life portrayed. The dress is so simple and elegant, mixed with the complexity of the boots and the vibrancy of the leggings, it's quite a nice contrast.
The lighting all looks amazing. I struggle with lighting, and pose sometimes, so to see someone who can do both really well is a joy to me. This is such a good piece.

I completely forgot to ask this before! What brushes did you decide/end up using with Painter IX since your method for Painter 6 didn't work with the newer program. I was just cruious, cuz I'm still battleing with the stupid program, and am trying to see what works best!

The highlights really are awesome. The cute little uptilt with her shoe is drawn so nicely. Those are some MEGA slicin' gloves. XD Detailed perfectly!
The details in her hair and the rose on her jacket are really nicely drawn in too.
