Description
Please excuse the quality of this. I drew it randomly while babysiting my fathe's friend's kid.We watched Kiki's Delivery Service.
Gosh, I love that movie. Well, I was doodling and ended up drawing Nasika with her new gray kitten.
Only the Tea-Academy Nasika had a kitten though . X3
Ryo-sensei (~amyY3 ) took her to a box on the side of the street with an abandoned kitten in it and she scooped it up and brought it home with all the love in her heart. She never got to have a pet before since she always traveled, and she loves them so.
It's just ironic he's called Smokey. X3 Nasika suggested it for his collor, it not even occuring to her that Ryo is a smoker and she absolutely despises that-- she hates to see him destroy his lungs. lol He jumped at the oppotunity to call him that. haha
I'll make a better picture of Smokey and Nasika that doesn't look so sketchy. XD

I love that movie! I think it was the first Miyazaki film I ever saw.

lol This was my first Miyazaki film as well. 
Smokey is cute. He's still a kitten though so he has a young boy's voice, but he's not all love. He adores Ryo the most and loves Nasika, but there are some people he doesn't like. So far, the only one on that list is ~RachelLevitte 's newest OC Paul (wearwolf). Smokey hates the dog smell. lol

I LOVE THATZ MOVIE!!! I have it too =3 but a really horrible quality which does no justice to the movie T.T Wish I had a DVD version of ALL studio Ghibli's films.

I have both the VHS and the DVD. Personally though, I seem to like VHSs better than DVDs usually. They're much more sturdey and I love how you can stop them at any place and nt have to bother going through scene selections and such.

I can tell you're younger than me by at least a little though if you don't know what VHSs is. . . =w= It's what we had back in the stone age where we didn't have DVDs. They're like square rectangles with film in them that we used to play movies at home. It's a Home Video.
DVDs are digital though so they have better quality, but I missed seeing those random little specks of white on the film that you don't notice as you watch them. =w= Now I see them and I'm filled with warm fuzzies.

VHS is tapes right? Because I had several cupboardfuls of them but they became jammed or spoiled. Sometimes I'm like "hey I wanna watch this!" and then I remember it was on tape and the tape player thingy that we still have is too old. Bummer.

You can go get good tapes converted at some stored into DVDs. :3
Also, there are some movies I find like My Neightbor Totoro that the VHS and the DVD have different translations for English. lol It's interesting.
